Each of the High Intensity Strength with Kayla workouts include rep-based supersets to build your strength and higher intensity time-based trisets to challenge your fitness. The exercises are designed to use a combination of large gym equipment, free weights or just your bodyweight.
As you move from the Foundation weeks to Week 1 of the full program, the rest breaks between exercises gradually become shorter.
The four resistance sessions each week include:
- Upper Body
- Full Body
- Full Body Cardio
The Express Full Body Cardio workouts can be done at home in 25 minutes or less and are optional for the full duration of the program. There is also a warm-up and cool down to complete before and after each workout.
There are two to three LISS cardio sessions, with the option to include a HIIT cardio session from Week 9.
To ensure you allow your body time to repair after each workout, youll find a scheduled recovery and rest day each week.

Tips For Staying Safe During Pregnancy Workouts
Staying safe and healthy is undoubtedly your biggest concern when starting any prenatal fitness program.
Getting your doctors permission is the most important thing to do before starting any pregnancy workout routine, but besides that, there are other safety tips to keep in mind:
- Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water before, during, and after your workout.
- Stay away from extreme temperatures. Dont sign up for hot yoga classes or workout in hot or cold weather. Instead, try to workout indoors where the temperature is more controllable.
- Listen to your body. Stop any workout immediately if you experience dizziness, headache, chest pain, or muscle weakness.
